Today I’ve chosen a black and white shot of one of our Christmas cactus (or Flor de Maio – May Flower, in it’s native Brazil). It has just started flowering for the second time this year and I have no idea why! I love the effect of the sunlight through the leaf-like stems. It’s a very interesting plant with beautiful flowers, which I’ll get round to taking some pictures of in the next few days.
