Something a bit different today – a picture of my local church with some ivy climbing up the wall. It’s one of the plainest churches I’ve ever seen in Scotland, even the smaller ones tend to be a bit more architecturally ornate. This one has a very austere feel. It does have some stained glass, but that’s about the only church-like thing about it.

I like the fact that the green of the roof edge and the ivy match, and the symmetry of the overall picture, even though the ivy breaks that symmetry. Maybe I like it more because of that actually!
