Hey folks, hope your week is going well – if not then at least it’s nearly the weekend 🙂

I took this shot of a single piece of wheat a few weeks ago before it had all reached it’s current golden ready-to-harvest state. It was a bit of an afterthought as I was actually out trying to get some shots of the local swallows; I took this pic while I was waiting for them to fly back round past me. The surrounding grass has some lovely, warm colours and I think this shot is probably verging on abstract because of the shallow focus.
