Hey folks,

Today’s photo is of a Eurasian Siskin having a snack! This is the first time I’d ever seen these birds. My partner and I were visiting a local nature reserve (Moffat Community Nature Reserve) and weren’t having much luck seeing any other wildlife when a gang of these little guys flew over and started feeding in the trees next to the path we were walking on. Aren’t they gorgeous?
