Hey folks,

Today’s photo is an appropriately festive robin. I love these little guys, they’re very cute and inquisitive. When I’m out taking pics I often find them bobbing about on the ground or a tree near me watching me.

This is definitely their time of year, as they’re everywhere. I wondered why they’re associated with Christmas and there are apparently a few reasons. There is an association with Christianity. In the past Robins (also know as Robin Redbreasts) were associated with the red uniforms of Royal Mail postal workers who would deliver chards at Christmas. So there you go!
