It’s been a while but I’m back with yet more bird photos…

This is a very alert looking wren, standing on a bit of dried out straw – which gives you an idea of how tiny they are!

Wren’s are very noisy for such small birds, but not often easy to see even if you can hear them! I spent a while following this one about a field. They’re almost more like mice than birds because of the way they dart in and out of the grass and undergrowth.

I have been trying very hard to get a good shot of one for a while, and this is about the best I’ve managed.
