It’s been a while since I’ve had a chance to get into some moody black and white flower photography – some of my favourite.

I’ve got some lovely dyed chrysanthemums in my living room at the moment – purple, orange and pink. But of course, I went black and white with this shot! I will post some colourful ones as well in the coming days.

I can’t believe I only got around to figuring this out, but the ‘depth of field preview’ function on my camera is an absolute game changer for using with my macro lens for these kind of shots. Seriously kicking myself for not realising this much earlier… like, years earlier!
