Hey folks,

Today’s photo is a cute little field mouse that lives in our garden (not in a field). She’s a regular, and will come out and eat food in front of us if we leave it out – which is how I was able to get these lovely pictures.

We named her Sylvia, after the Latin name for field mice, Apodemus sylvaticus (because we’re fancy like that 😂). I don’t know how happy the neighbours would be if they knew we were actively encouraging mice by feeding them, but oh well!
