I’ve developed a bit of an obsession with dahlias recently… Honestly, how could I not? They’re beautiful flowers, and come in so many wonderful colours and patterns. They’re kind of a flower photographer’s dream.

This particular type of dahlia is called “LaBella Maggiore”, and I was blown away the first time I saw it. It almost gives off a kind of glow, which I’ve tried to capture here. Sometimes photographs can’t do nature justice, though.
